We recommend that you submit your application as early as possible. Our program is open to students of all backgrounds including current undergraduate and graduate students, recent graduates from any college or university, and individuals who have no past or current collegiate affiliation. For students enrolling for credits, credits are transferred at the discretion of the student’s home institution. No previous architecture or construction experience is necessary; the only prerequisite is self-motivation. This creative process offers students unique insight into the oftentimes disparate worlds of the architect and the builder. Architects are routinely trained without any building experience that might inform their designs, and builders are trained to execute without a sense of the overarching purpose or design of the project.
Sliding Scale Tuition
By processing your award through a Title IV instituion, you earn Continuing Education Unti's (CEU's) at a rate a 1 CEU/15 contact hours. We are able to accept AmeriCorps Educational Awards for any Yestermorrow course through our academic partnership with Sterling College. There is a fee of $130/CEU for processing your award through Sterling. This fee for CEUs is in addition to the Yestermorrow course tuition, materials fee, lodging, and meal plan, which can be covered by the student's AmeriCorps award.
